wow wtf is going on the broadcasting industry...this isn't only problem out there...

many huge cable companies are dropping news stations from their line ups like crazy...

KSAT-TV here recently had this problem with time warner, but the dispute was settled.

Back to snow days.

I agree with Gil.  Boo freaking who if you have to go a couple extra days in school.  It's not like it's going to make a difference anyways..

My school did NOT get cancelled yesterday, and I was NOT happy..at all.  So I just said..eff it..I'm staying home, and my parents second my thought..haha.  I got a few text messages from people who did go to school , and said there was no more than 8 or 10 people in each class..out of 20-30ish. CRAZY.

hahaha this is why i love living in the deep south...we don't even need snow for classes to be canceled, all we need is temps to remain under 32 degrees with freezing rain.  :bleh:

If he leaves, I hope they replace him with Sean McLaughlin from Phoenix's CBS affiliate. He used to be MSNBC's Chief Meteorologist, but he liked CBS 5 better though.

  ....

thats all i've gotta say.

So what's up with the STAR Team at TWCC? Is it really so slow over there that they've taken it upon themselves to try and get things to pick up? I saw the thread they posted yesterday in regards to yesterday morning's LF blooper, and quite frankly, reading it almost made ME fall of MY chair. They've never seen a screw-up on the LF before?

Yep, you know your ship's sinking when your STAR Team spends more time chatting up your members than solving problems on the tech support board.

...i'm pretty sure it was no "blooper" as they want us to think..

as Steve mentioned:

The fact the STAR Team came out and admitted this happened seems to invoke this wasn't exactly as "unplanned" as we may think.

i agree.

Like Starbucks. There are 2 starbucks coffees stores just 5 blocks within each other in here

thats nothing....there's a starbucks right across from my work, and just recently in the past months the Quarry Village opened up across the street, and behold another starbucks.

so yesterday i was scheduled to work 5-CL but didn't go in because I had a choir concert...long story short...today I went in a quit.

after only half a year, i simply grew tired of working at the same location...not to mention the managers were major idiots, and i wasn't about to put up with it.

my priorities set now. woot.
