I don't really know if i said anything about this, but if i didn't...on December 10, 2008 - my position at freddy's was eliminated, by yours truly, meaning i quit.

well, now after less than a month...i went into the restaurant to see how things were goin, I learned multiple things

1) the manager who prompted me to quit my job was let go
2) due to the mentioned manager above, many people quit.
3) one of the coolest managers quit, we were really tight...he reportedly quit shortly after I did.
4) they "needed" a closer. (that was me when i was working there)

so taking this into consideration, I liked working there...the manager let go was a douche. but i'm not really sure if i want to go back, however I picked up an application to reapply (not that i have to)...thoughts? good/bad idea? i don't plan on starting asap, i, as a matter a fact will not be available to work until mid February, i mentioned this in my application.

and a double shift...he was working WWC today as well.

Technically it's not a double shift; the OCMs that work WWC also work the 7 PM CT hour of EE Weekend.

of course i would have never figured that out  . i don't watch twc as often as i use to.

Just to be clear, I wasn't saying I didn't like the logo or anything, I'm just saying I think a version of the logo without a white background (or any background at all) would look more professional.

i too thought of that when i saw it. but also understood about the blue on blue problem, so i didn't say anything.

That's what I'm saying. The cable companies should continue to make agreements in writing and let us live our lives without worrying about carrage disputes.

its not just that...simply because times are bad right now...networks think they have the power to raise prices to keep their productions going, they're taking advantage of economic problems, and that is not right. i'm glad time warner is pulling viacom networks off, maybe it'll prove a point that not everyone is going to get what they want, especially when we're going through...i can only assume a recession, not so much as a depression?

Yep. I guess Comcast isn't as bad as I thought now, but I am still trying to make the change to AT&T Digital Cable. I find this stupid that they would just drop 19 channels like that. I am never going to switch back to Time Warner!

get a grip...are you all even thinking about the other contributor to this problem?? (aka viacom)

i'm just as fed up with it as anyone else, but time warner is not the only one to blame.

I can confirm that Keith IS, repeat IS, still with TWC. 

I can also confirm that Dennis is NOT. He was also let go along with the others during the layoffs.

what video editting program did you use? the EE open (quality and audio) seemed kinda jumpy.

oh and i made use of the ee music cut too :p, just in a different graphic package, maybe i'll slap my voice over on it and post it haha.

i've gotten the satellite lf for the past half hour now with a working LDL

edit: my LDL has now dissappeared, must be a local problem.
