one sign that you've been infected with the conflicker virus is if you attempt to visit microsoft.com and it's inaccessible

there are more signs, but i've forgotten what they are.

I hate my science teacher.  :club: We were doing group work and when my partner went to look at my paper briefly, she caught him and picked both of our papers up, ripped them up, threw them away, and gave me and my partner both a 0 for cheating.  <_< School systems these days are so unethical, it isn't even funny.
What you should have done, was when she ripped up your paper, you should have cussed her out and walked out.

surely you're joking. now-a-days you can get expelled for such a thing....walking out -- that's a different story.

Wow that's great! Cool that you have the full A&B theme as your ringtone, I gotta make something like that...how on earth did you get it? Did you piece together little snippets of it?
He ripped the audio from my boredom project, which has 3 snippets put together (for right now)... If you all want a copy of it, you can get it from http://g.imagehost.org/download/0037/wcab-boredom ... All I ask is that you please do NOT upload this video to youtube (atleast without contacting me first). Thank you in advance :)

you wouldn't happen to have just the audio by itself, would you? i would love to have the opens with the music, my phone actually has "video ringtones" but doesn't exactly like video files a whole lot, though with some luck i'm usually able to get other twc music into my phone haha.

And it keeps getting better. Knowing I graduated in '08 with the honour of raising my science grades from E's to A's, I can rest on the fact that my work is done. I am now a college student with a projected entrance into the Weather Channel or it's subsidiaries by 2014. Next topic.

you brag way too often about your college stat. you're not the only one in college here, and certainly won't be in a couple of months...

Well what if it came from a website. Like my dad goes to his video website that has a lot of viruses and pop-ups and that site might be the cuase. So system restore would put the cpu back to the state that it was before my dad visited the site but the virus would still be there?
the CPU is the processor btw. But yes, technically it's still there.
technically, the term CPU can also be described as the unit that "does the work". Therefore, the computer tower itself can be called a CPU.

As far as viruses go, I've NEVER been able to remove a virus with software. Norton, useless. AVG, useless. Adware/Malware blockers and removers, useless.

The only way I've ever been able to get rid of a virus/adware/malware, was by hard reformat.
LOL even on a Mac?

i thought macs couldn't get a virus? or maybe it was they're a lot less common than on windows. hm

shows how much i know macs. lol.
When did I ever say it was a Mac?

i'm not exactly sure why you quoted me, because i was quoting vic...not you. ;) i never said in anyway that you said it was mac, but again only because i wasn't referring to your post

That's correct. Mac's aren't as vulnerable to viruses as PC's, but they aren't completely immune.

gotcha. haha thanks  :)

Programming and Graphics / Re: Major schedule changes on the way

The name, "Weather Center", really started back in 1997, but I don't blame TWC for continuing this simple name even into today.  It's still effective!

i'm sure kyle is aware of when weather center started...

I also like Weather Center.  Very basic, and general

not to mention a failure after dark.  :P

does anyone know exactly why Weather Center (after dark, solo OCM) has failed each and every night since it's time slot relaunch?  it's ridiculous and quite unprofessional.

some news stations never cease to amaze me...

back in February KSAT 12 claimed to be in HD, but became obvious to everyone that they were broadcasting in 16x9 SD, however they still claimed to be in HD.

KSAT gave no warning of their so called "HD" transition and thought it would be a great idea to just flip the switch on any random day. They're graphics didn't change much, and parts that were changed looked horrific. they didn't get a studio upgrade, something they've had for over 7 years...it's not even a studio! its a freakin' desk with an oversized chroma key wall behind it.

mind you, ever since they're little "transition" a lot of viewers have been complaining about KSAT's newscast being fuzzy on both SD and HD channels, ultimately leading viewers their huge competitor KENS 5 whom went HD many moons before KSAT. KSAT used to be San Antonio's number 1 newscast, claming the 5, 6, and 10 o'clock newscast. rumor has it, that they're ratings will not be as impressive as they use to be.

did mention i hate ksat?  :bleh: competitor to both KSAT and KENS -- WOAI has plans to launch HD sometime this year -- the station turns 60 on Dec 11, and that is my forecast date of their full and complete HD transition. i honestly think i might be impressive if they're gonna do what I think they're gonna do.  :D

if WOAI does go HD this would be San Antonio's 2nd (or 3rd if you count the station "claiming" to be in HD) newscast to broadcast live in HD. KABB (FOX 29), not a competitor, does not have any plans to broadcast in HD in the near future, which is good cause their newscasts suck. lol

blahhh! that was my rant for today. lol
heh you have a Fox 29 too! :D Noticing they haven't transitioned to the newer Fox logo that most other stations have...

KABB current logo:

Old WTXF Fox 29 logo:

Current WTXF Fox 29 logo:

i think it's because you're FOX 29 is FOX O&O.
