ok, so who is this guy running PM Edition in master control again?

it's beginning to look like a repeat of the 2003-2005 PME massive production fail era all over again.
seriously.
Master control hasn't been used for production since the full move to the HD studio last year. It's probably a poor produced broadcast/inexperienced staff from another control room.

i meant control room actually...lol sorry.

I think Al is saying that the flu is not as harmful as first thought.  My brother's high school had an outbreak about 2 weeks ago, where 35-40% of the school was out.  They still stayed open (they don't close school down for  :censored: ).  Just wash your hands, cover your mouth with your sleeve, and you should be fine in getting it, so no need for school to shut down.

exactly.

Everyone in my area is sick with coughs and swine flu. If there is a swine flu outbreak going on in schools, then why are they not shutting them down?

because it's not as serious as they originally thought...

well...about that.

twc has been known to drop high rated shows... :whistling:

but i agree, i don't really see it going anywhere anytime soon, unfortunately.
Technically no; they've just been rebranded.

how so? evening edition was not rebranded, it was completely torn apart (imo) -- even the primetime ocm line up was changed.

now Abrams and Bettes turning into Weather Center, that's a rebrand.

then YWT to YWT with AB - that too is a rebrand. (to me at least)

Did you actually upgrade or do a fresh install? I had a similar issues on a test computer I upgraded. Media Player would work fine if I opened it and even would load videos if I dragged and dropped them into the player. However if I tried to open the file outside of the player I got an error message similar to that of yours even with all the codecs correctly installed. This wasn't limited to media files for me either. Turns out some thing with my original vista system were outtawack and that messed up the upgrade. You actually dont need too many more codecs for 7 since a lot more are supported. If you did actually do an upgrade I HIGHLY encourage a fresh install. All of your files will go into a WindowsOld folder on your computer, so they are not erased. You just have to reinstall your programs, which to me sometimes is nice since I accumulate a lot of crap over time :P I just install what I need. Good luck

i guess i did the upgrade...what's the difference?

i downloaded it via for college students and followed the instructions on screen. everything else is fine though, and not too bad

He's clearly done or doing smething wrong... Most likely drm or codec problems.

that doesn't explain the firefox issue.

i figured it was a codec problem, but it was every video. not just a specific file type...

so today marks the last day of our women's sky-rise residential hall at ASU.

the 10 story residential hall is scheduled to be imploded at approximately 8:15 this morning, i'm fixin to head out and get it on video and some before/after photos.

the hall was closed in 2005 when the university discovered there was a major asbestos issue after considering completing renovations to the 55 year old building. it's sister hall, Concho Hall...formally an all men's dorm, was also tested, but the results came back negative.
