so today, was basically a wacked out day...second period, the school decides we should have a lock-down drill, haha...the administration wanted to keep it on the DL, but also faced the fact that if they didn't tell the student body, they'd text their family and tell them something is going on at the school, so some teachers went through and told their students what was going to happen tuesday during second period, and others were clueless. hahaha. ohhh but it doesn't stop there, around lunch (noon) in front of our cafeteria is a little area with tables, was being closed off to set up a set that eva longoria (yes, the eva longoria) was going to shoot a commercial that involved our spurs dance team, we were unable to get any information on what the commercial was going to be about...there were also Spurs Players (basketball team, not our dance team haha) there as well. come 5th period, the administration refused to let ANYONE watch them produce this commercial...5th period I have choir, it just so happened that my choir director was out so we did nothing during that class, and the music building is literally right across from the cafeteria, we got in trouble multiple times....hahaha then finally gave up. 5 minutes toward the end of class, we had a group of people (30+) that agreed to all barge outside the music building and act as though we were going to our next class (knowing that the administration can't get us all in trouble), by then it was to late, they had already cleared eva and the players from the area and hid them in the cafeteria until the end of passing period....what a day. hahaha.

Offended by being called a computer nerd? That doesn't seem very insulting to me.

Anyway, regardless of RAM I highly disagree that Stephen would be better off with Vista. My brother has had it for some time and has hit numerous road bumps during that time. Until Vista has been around awhile and the kinks have been worked out I'd hold off on it.

yeah..nobody has the right to go around and call other people names (i thought that was back in elementary school, not high school)...you can say i'm a hypocrite because I do it myself, but only when I'm in pissed mode, i wasn't offended, just a hint that if you call me a name (other than my own), i'll fly off the handle  :P...then again, i tend to fly off the handle for no reason.  :P

they barely have time to visit twcclassics, it would be nice for them to be around here too, but I think they're simply too busy...even so, it's practically the same members...thus two topics will be made, but on different forums...waste of time much?

just because someone knows what RAM is doesn't make them a computer nerd, if I were stephen i'd be deeply offended...anyone who is everyone should know what RAM is if they own a computer (which is part of the basics)   :whistling:

i didn't mean to imply "a lie" as harsh as i meant...instead of saying it was a local problem, they could have simply said "we don't have an answer at the time, we'll look into this situation".

but when practically every member is having some sort of time out error, i don't think you need proof to tell you it's definitely not a local problem.

who said that?

it was a discussion on taiganet...matt contacted the host, they made their assumption...matt posted it on taiganet, and it was a lie.

the host claims it's a local connection problem, our conclusion was that they lied, and they don't have an exact cause why this is occurring.

You guys are too young for that shit.

16 like  the new 21 these days (as it seems)

I have to close down at work.. and then I am heading to a party (maybe..if its not the new year by the time we get out :rolleys:  the manager in charge takes FOREVER to close)

Your right about that, unfortunately.

Al, the drinking isn't relieving your problems. It just temporarily hides them.

As for the maturity angle...I think not. No teenager can drink responsibly. Teenagers don't have the mental capabilities yet to do that. Its hard for even adults to drink responsibly.

right. i tried to imply that, I guess i didn't...but yeah, you're right.

as for the maturity, thing...like I said, some know their limitations, others could give a rats ass...sadly not even half know their limitations. I never said ALL teens can drink responsibly, but you'll be surprised there are a few.

as for parents, drinking responsibly, it's because they think they are superior and invisible, when they're really not.

Many people in my family drink, but I don't, nor do I plan to even in my adult life. It's better to "not be cool" (like what kids might say to non-drinkers) than to be under the influence.

around here (heights) your not judged how "cool" you are based on if you drink or not...either you do drink or you don't, and you'll be accepted either way (by your friends). i don't see how drinking makes anyone "cool", because truthfully it doesn't.
