I know reservists and active military folks are to get their jobs back after their tour of duty is over (i.e. being called up to serve in Afghanistan). That IS the law. I'm not sure how you would categorize working as a hurricane hunter. It may fall along the same lines as National Guard personnel who take a weekend a month and another two weeks period for exercises.

Even with all of that, NBC knew full well she (and Warren Madden for that matter) did hurricane missions at Keesler AFB from time to time. I think both were treated very unfairly by their former bosses.

Didn't Warren leave TWC voluntarily to take a job with some sort of Aircraft company?  IIRC, he announced it on the old TWCMB.  He still does occasional fill-in work at TWC just like Ryan Goswick.

I think Warren left long before NBC took over.

Huh? As I understood it she did. TWC cut her down from full time to part time appearances and she decided to leave. I don't believe she was actually "fired"

Nicole Posted on her status a few days ago that she was helping out at the National Hurricane Center for a few days... So I guess she is still in weather... Looks like she's been on constant vacations after leaving TWC though...  :worship:

She's still an active member of the air force/hurricane hunters, so I don't see her leaving it any time soon, unless something better comes along the way.
