TWC hires new Hurricane Specialist Dr. Greg Postel

I tuned into TWC for the first time in a while and caught them announcing this during the Tropical Update. He starts tomorrow morning (August 5th).

I thought he looked familiar!!! He was a fill-in meteorologist at KTKA-TV here in Topeka, as well. For a while the same company that owned 6 News Lawrence (a cable-only, low viewed station that was only available in Douglas County, KS) also owned KTKA (ABC). So while they were in a very bad slump of revolving door personalities they had him fill in as morning or weekend meteorologist sometimes.

Dr. Greg Postel did the Tropical Update starting at 11am.
Carl Parker did the updates 7am-11am.
