Chris Warren is the meteorologist for the weekend evening editions of KING 5 News at 5:00, 6:30, 10:00 and 11:00. He can also be seen on NorthWest Cable News where he began on air during the summer of 2003.Prior to his work at KING 5 and NWCN, Warren was forecasting weather at KSBY-TV in San Luis Obispo, California, and KTVZ-TV in Bend, Oregon. He loves to tell a story whether it’s about the day’s weather, a football game or a recent adventure. In past positions he brought viewers stories from out in the field as a reporter and photographer, and from the newsroom as a news anchor and video editor.Chris is a member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and the National Weather Association. He holds the AMS’s Seal of Approval for Broadcast Meteorology. He completed the three-year Broadcast Meteorology program from Mississippi State University after earning his degree in Broadcasting from Washington State University with a minor in psychology.
Just TWC continuing their policy of eliminating the experienced good OCM's and then turning around months later and hiring new ones. Makes you wonder if they made a mistake with all of those layoffs.
