From what I've heard, Jeff was an OCM a few years ago a few times during Overnight Outlook. Does anyone have any video footage of him as an OCM? I'd be interested in seeing it. :yes:

It would've had to ahve been within the last couple of years because, IIRC, he just got his degree a short time ago.  :yes:

On his Road Crew (auto)biography page, it says it was in January 2005.

I know this is a really old topic, but it's relevant:

it appears as though Jeff has lost his job at WSFL...the plug was pulled on the morning show he helped host on August 4 without warning. Staff members received the frightening news after their Wednesday broadcast.

That is just awful for Jeff. He was doing very well in that show! I feel so terrible for him. I really hope he finds another soon.  :no:

Jeff used to hang out at the old TWC message boards.  He was a really cool guy.

BTW, what was the name of that other show he used to host on TWC?  I liked that show, but it didn't last very long.   :(

I met Jeff in person back in 2007. Very laid back kind of guy. I'll never forget when I said "i remember watching you on overnight outlook" and he told me.. "what the hell are you doing up that late?" hahaha.

but sad to see he lost his job, but i highly doubt he'll be left in the dust, i'm sure someone will come by and sweep him up.

Awww I'm also sorry to hear Jeff lost his job.  :(  I wish him the best...hes such a cool guy!! I know he also has a twitter (@jmielcarz).  It would be great if TWC offered him a spot...but who knows.

Hopefully he will get picked up really soon. It would be nice if he didn't have to travel far

If I recall correctly, he doesn't actually live in Florida... He travels by plane between Florida and Atlanta as I don't recall him relocating his wife and kids.
