Yes, they were hosting the last hour of Day Planner and the 2 and 4 PM ET hours of Weather Center. They just happened to be the original EE pairing when EE premiered in 2001. ;)

Also, coincidentally they're using the Evening Edition lower thirds this hour. :P

OK!! Because of the lack of videos from around this time on Youtube, I had no idea. I've only had TWC OCD since October of 2007 from TWC Footage of 2007-present.
