But, unfortunately, it's all about money.  Her employer would rather have less-experienced employees with lower salaries than those with more experience, but who command more money.

I really like Cheryl and her on-air performance. It's sad people like her don't get much respect by employers. Would be nice if she were on WeatherNation as I think she would fit on there perfectly.

Me too.  Cheryl has always done her job professionally and with dignity. I hope she gets a job, maybe on CNN like Alexandra, or another station.

I really hope Cheryl is still job hunting.. WTSP is losing two meteorologists next month, and this might be an opportunity for her, seeing that they will only be left with one

I am about 90% sure she is now at WSBT in South Bend, she was on the 10pm, I'm recording the 11pm and should know for sure in the morning....

That's great news! I wish her the best of luck up there.  It's WXIA-TV's loss, they let go a classy professional woman.
