39 years old?  She's older than my mother   I would have never guessed she was that old.  I would have said early to mid 30's.  Dang.  Well congrats to her.  She seems like she is having the time of her life right now.

She surely is, it seem like.
There's this house on the same street that she lives that's worth 4 million dollars.

Alexandra Steele is the main reason I rarely ever watch the primetime Evening Edition anymore. Since she joined, EE was really falling apart.

I remember back in 2002-2003, I watched EE almost every night. Paul and Jennifer made a great team.

Don't talk about Alexandra, she's tops in my opinion.
I like EE better than the previous years because it has really turned out to be a very interesting show, now that she's here. Every time I watch EE every single night, I always get a least one laugh out of it when it's Alexandra, Paul, and Jim.

The article on her from AJC is located here, in case anyone wants to read it. It talks a lot about her personal life.

I agree with Mike.  EE has not been as good since Jennifer Lopez left the show, and Alexandra started.
But, nothing we can do about it

She's a very good meteorologist
I like Jennifer myself, but Alexandra is still tops in my book.

I wonder if Alexandra will keep her position on Evening Edition when she returns from maternity leave? And on that note, I wonder who her (possible) replacement will be?

Same here.  There's that "Evening Edition Curse" out there.  Kim Perez left for maternity leave (Weather Center PM changed to Evening Edition while she was gone), Jennifer Lopez was her fill-in, and permanantly got the spot.  Then, after Jennifer went on maternity leave (I believe the second time), Alexandra Steele was the fill in, then got the position.

If ratings are good with Alexandra, and bad with the replacement, I'm pretty sure Alexandra will stay.  But, if ratings are rapidly better with her fill-in, then she may get replaced....who knows :whistling:
