Alexandra Steele No Longer with TWC

This may seem like a dumb question, but does anyone know if Jim Cantore and Alexandra Steele are (or once was) in a relationship?:

Tell you the truth, there was no telling because when Jim had gotten the divorce, him and Alexandra were all over each other. And, plus there's no telling if he was cheating on his wife with her or not. That's just my opinion. But, him and Alex had something going outside of the studios I bet because she had this habit of touching him all the time and flirting with him right on air.

A couple of weeks ago Nicole posted on her FB fan page that the current management views her military duty as being an "inconvenience".  Then 30 minutes later her entry was deleted. I assumed she had second thoughts about posting that, and deleted it herself.

They both are married and have kids. I think everyone is reading too deep into this "flirting" thing.

Nicole's comment on Facebook is concerning, too.

I don't think so. She is safe. Her position as a hurricane hunter is pushed big by TWC. More than likely she will leave on her own when she gets a high paying job. I know she has been increasing her education recently. Its not a matter of if but when she leaves.

And, the first night that Eric Fisher was on air, she flirted with him as well calling him and Chris "two hot hunks".

YEP, and everyone missed a lot of crazy moments on TWC when she was there.

Ok so I was just going through Egger's Facebook reading comments, and found something interesting. She says a few times "filling in" on Weather Center, long after we started speculating Alex was let go.

On October 12 @ 6:10pm, she commented on a wall post and said "...back to filling in on nights today-Friday"
On October 12 at 6:14pm, she commented on a wall post and said "...I'm filling in on the night shows this week, Tuesday-Friday. 7 to 10pm eastern"

Also, someone posted and asked if Egger knocked Alex out of the line up, and Egger responded and said "Hi John, I'm just filling in where I'm needed. I'll be on Day Planner with Samantha Mohr on Monday."

Interesting. I still think Alex is no longer at TWC because we haven't seen her in awhile, and I guess maybe Crystal wouldn't be told that she is replacing someone...IDK.

I guess Crystal is just a "floater" OCM for now; like she said, she'll be on whenever they need someone to "fill in."

Most likely. TWC can't publically discuss personel matters.

what strikes me is that the Cantore and Steele page on facebook is still being updated with newsfeeds...the name hasn't been changed either.

That doesn't mean anything at all. They rarely update the bio pages on weather.com. There have been instanced where OCMs have left and their bio pages were still on the server months later.

Yeah, don't ever trust the bio pages to determine if an OCM is or is not still at TWC.

And I'm not sure why "Cantore and Steele" hasn't been changed but again, TWC probably tends to forget about these less important things and hasn't thought to change the name.

I for one will not miss Alexandra one bit.

She was a horrible interviewer, in my opinion...asking questions about things Julie or the on-site meteorologists have already covered.

I'm not crazy about Crystal either....she seems to be the younger version of Alexandra...with her presentation and looks.
