Title: Feb 2011 Update
Post by: cc17926 on February 23, 2011, 11:09:19 PM: Here is the long awaited update to the emulator which includes updated 36 Hour Forecast/Coastal Waters Forecast text fonts, Tides, and even the Airport Package!

This release is offered as a Development release as there are certain aspects that still need to be worked on (such as icon decision on the Airport Package).

Please check inside CINE to grab this update!

Installation is very basic, If you already have weatherscan installed, extract the executables to the main directory of C:\wsxl, then extract the images to c:\wsxl\main .. can't be any more simplistic :) You will run the new wsxl executable with the long name to run this development version.

Also, I have placed a bypass on the one key limit for this and the previous build of the emulator. The key is still generated for your hardware, however this is done to help aid anyone who would otherwise need their current key purged.

Couple of things though.. 1) is it possible to add the program back to the taskbar so i dont have to use Alt-Tab to view it? :P 2) is there a way to implement an LDL on/off feature for the user to control?

I just get the information unavailable screen, and I have verified that the files are in the right place and my internet is fine. Can you help me with this?

Same thing occurs for me only when i pick Boat & Beach (Harmonic Tides) , but the only update that works is Airport.

I just noticed that the alert page does not update as alerts are issued/updated/canceled. My emulator still says winter weather watch when we now have a blizzard warning. Just thought I'd let you know.

Also, is there a way to make the LDL transparent at all with an option of some sort? That would be sweet. PS: Where does that image come from/located??

Has the Boat and Beach and "Harmonic Tides" pages been fixed yet?
