I think Thanksgiving and December 1-5 are good times to start the holiday playlist, but Thanksgiving may seem a bit early.

December 1 is just perfect with me, though.(Off-topic) A radio station in my area (WLIT) starts playing Christmas carols in November and plays them and nothing else throughout the entire holiday season.
I think December 25 is too early for the holiday playlist to end. I think it should end December 31. In addition, January is too late for the playlist to end.

December 26th is ok.True, but it shouldn't end so early on Christmas like it has been at noon or 1, it should keeping going until Christmas night sometime during the primetime list and then transition back over to the regular playlist.
