I decided to start this topic to try and have a better idea when IntelliStar's were installed in cable systems.
Please include these 4 things:
- Cable Provider at the time
- Location at the time
- IntelliSTAR ID at the time
- Time when the IntelliSTAR was installed. (If you don't know the exact day, that's absolutely fine, just include the month and/or year.)

Bensalem's intellistar (21884/Comcast) was upgraded from an XL around March 2004.

Hmm, now that I think about it, I think 21884 may have been upgraded in late February. I know I still remember seeing my XL around Presidents Day weekend that year though.

I don't remember if my STAR ID changed when I got the IS, it could be the same.
It was early 2004, February I believe... I really didn't pay much attention because I confused the two stars at first since they had the same background.

Yeah, that's why I can't really remember exactly when mine was upgraded either. At first, the only difference I noticed was that more narration was added.

The only changes made here at the time were the Doppler radar (with the countdown hours) plus the LDL went to a solid black background. Other changes were made as the IntelliSTAR continued to update.

Yeah, my IntelliStar config was nearly identical to my XL when it first rolled out. Then it went through several config changes starting in mid 2005 (as did most other STARs).

It most likely happened in March or April 2004, but I am not entirely sure, as I did not start watching TWC regularly until May 2004.

I did remember seeing our XL earlier in March 2004, but I think they replaced sometime around late March. I also can't remember if they changed the ID number once when we got our IntelliStar.

It should have. The IntelliStar ID is a 5-digit number that starts with 2, and no other STAR has that.

Despite being just 6 years old at the time, I remember the exact date and the exact time when my XL upgraded to an IntelliStar. The last XL LF that I saw was somewhere in the 9am hour and the TWC feed was off the air for a couple hours with a black screen displaying a message (I don't remember what it said), but the feed returned just before the 11:18am LF and I was surprised to see the LF completely remodeled (not knowing there was a new LF equipment going on).
