What do you think about the Nov/Dec Playlist
« on: December 05, 2009, 04:30:35 PM »
I'd say it is pretty decent. The daytime has the best playlist by far. The morning is okay, but the primetime is very strange. These are my favorites from the playlist:

Ritmo De Otomo - Bernie Williams Feat. Dave Koz
Elizabeth   - David Foster
Living in High Definition - George Benson
In The Moment - Freddie Washington
Big Foot - Jim Weider
Metameme - Sound Tribe Sector 9 (though it was already used in July/August)
The Home Alone Theme - John Williams (appropriate for the Holidays)
First Gust - Chris Geith
Soulful Strut - Young-Holt Unlimited
Forever In Love - The Love Unlimited Orchestra (they have used quite a few songs the last few months from Barry and LUO)

I'm not sure why they put football music in the primetime list. I wish they would extend the daytime list to at least 7 or 8, again, because that is the only list with consistent smooth jazz.

Hakeem: What's up, Jetsons!
Frank Mitchell: Jetsons?
Hakeem: Yeah, you and George got the same haircut.

I like it. It has smooth jazz in the daytime and catchy rock/R&B songs in the morning and evening.

I'm with you there. When I took my first look at the playlist, I thought it was awful lol. Certainly The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is not a personal favorite of mine, much less hearing it on TWC. By far thought, the worst song this month is "The Lineman" by Sam Spence, which basically had repetition of the same rhythm the whole song. I always mute the Tv or change the channel when it comes on lol. I also have a bad distaste for Boney James music. On the other hand, I really like the Soulstance song and 'Once and Again" by WG Snuffy Waldren.

Favorite songs:
TSOP by MFSB
The other side by Patrick Droney
All in All by Jim Lum
On the Ocean by Rob White
First Gust by Chris Geith
Song for America by Kansas
Main Title from Home Alone by John Williams
Touch by Boney James
Mixed Precipitiation by Chris Geith

Worst song: Wizards in Winter by Trans Siberian Orchestra (Overrated song. I hate it. Too rockist. I though it was the main title from Home Alone when I first hear it.)

Sorry for the double post, but here's what I think about this playlist: Horrible! Now that running for like 2 months already, LF Music is now dead to me.
