If the Trammell continues this weekend, I'll record some XL clips and post 'em.

A couple of things that are odd though - there appears to be some "stuttering" when a new track starts up.  Also, the Trammell playlist appears to be on "shuffle" mode... didn't it used to be in order, as on his CDs?  Also, I see the satellite forecast for a split second at the start of every local forecast.  Kinda makes me believe there's more than a playlist problem going on.  And am I correct in assuming, in whatever order the music is playing, that it continues "behind the scenes" during commercials and live broadcasts?  That's why when a Local Forecast starts, the song is already in progress?

Thx - and I'll hopefully get some new Xl vids this weekend!

The satellite local forecast is broken, from what we know. To prevent satellite viewers from looking at nothing for two minutes during the local forecast, TWC has flipped over to the "emergency feed" which is a constant satellite LF and a constant loop of 20 Trammell Songs.

That makes sense.  At least though when the satellite l/f goes dead, the status quo is maintained, albeit "out of order".  If the XL or the I/S (or 4000 or Jr) go dead, we get the satellite, which is a step back.

(if anything I've said has been replied to already or mentioned, i apologize.  this thread is indeed 50 pages)

Hmm...I wonder too if they lost their BMI license, and instead of reloading a playlist they just activated the emergency feed until their license is renewed.

Has that happened before?

Yeah, a few times back in the 1990s. That is why we had all Network Music playlists in July 1993 and a few more times in 1995.

It's an issue with the satellite feed too though. If it was a playlist issue, the satellite feed would be showing normal flavors with trammell music. The satellite feed is starting at odd areas of the map and looping with the radar first then the regional maps

And I'll ask again: WHY is this such a big deal to you?

But you keep saying the same thing over and over. WE KNOW its a satellite issue. We can't do anything about it. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the Trammell, because its evidently not going anywhere anytime soon.

There is nothing wrong about hearing Trammell! But if this continues through next week, won't it get kind of boring hearing Trammell music then?
