Even though the SD channel switches back, the HD channel stays on the emergency feed throughout the entire LF. I'm assuming the HD LF can't cue with whatever problems are going on right now. Case in point: at the 3:08 CT LF, the LF music started playing after the dead air where the opener should've played, but the HD LF never cued, so they switched over to the emergency feed.

Although I didn't hear any Trammell (I was busy doing homework :P ), at 4:18 PM ET, the local ads ran, and when they were finished, there was a frozen commercial on the national feed, then my IntelliStar kicked in with a 1:30 flavor, and strangely, the Week Ahead appeared at the end of the LF, not the Extended Forecast.
The Week Ahead was shown at 3:48 too. I wonder if the 3-day forecast was discontinued?

Can HD viewers hear Trammell on the lf too?
Yes. In fact back in November HD viewers heard Trammel for several days weeks, while the SD feed had music from the normal playlist.
Fixed. :P

I don't know what everyone on SD saw, but over on the HD channel, the failures continue. We saw the LF opener at 3:28 CT, but when it came time for the actual LF, we saw a frozen first frame of the Weather Center sponsor graphic until the emergency feed kicked in and stayed on for the rest of the LF.

Here, the IntelliStar queued right after a weather.com/tv LF opener.

edit: anyone think discussion should be split into a new topic?

3:38 - Frozen Dr. Anna Marie opener before emergency LF kicks in - track 12 playing.

The HD LF machine must be screwed up or something; still no sign of it coming back.

The HD LF returned at 3:48, but many of the animations were lagging, and the LF didn't even finish before they went national.

Things have been okay since 3:58, but oddly, the 3:58 LF started with a quick glimpse of the last frame of a 2-minute LF before it reset and started from the beginning.
