The Trammell Train continues.
Matt (ErnestoAlert)

For those interested...my username is derived from Tropical Storm Ernesto's Storm Alert fame. As most know, this was a ridiculous move by The Weather Channel, considering Ernesto was quite weak. The name is intended to be taken in a sarcastic tone.

Wow, this is ridiculous! (in a good way!)

This is certainly a red-letter day in TWC history: Wednesday, September 19, 2007. 8)

I wish I would have been able to see it all, but at least I got to see a lot of it. I actually predicted Fair Weather playing at 9:48 CT since it hadn't played for so long; I didn't actually expect it to actually play, though. :P

The guitar solo in "Carefree" is one of my absolute favorites. I've listened to it at least ten times over the past week. That's definitely some of Trammell's finest right there.

Hopefully this will continue for a while still as it seems their normal LF music computer has completely gone out. I guess if we wanted to be real TWC nerds, we could predict what song will play on each LF by calculating the time between LFs against the song times. :P

I'm pretty sure this backup music is all of disc 1 and at least parts of disc 2. Does anybody know if they use all of disc 2?

I'm pretty sure it is all of disc 1. I haven't heard any music from disc 2 tonight or throughout any other Trammell outage.

I've heard Beach Frollic earlier, which is on Disc 2.

It all depends on which version of the CDs you got. Recently, I believe Trammell split up the songs 13/13/13, but originally it was 15/16/8, and that leads me to believe that TWC has the original 15/16/8 copy because right after Beach Frolic plays, the CD seems to start over with Fair Weather.

Disc 1, track 10 just played at 10:29 CT. (sorry, I don't know the name off-hand)

That song brings back memories of my youth, and I'll admit, it's subconsciously associated with bad weather. When I first heard that song after I bought Trammell's CDs, it brought back memories of some particularly bad weather from when I used to live in Bolingbrook, IL. I'm assuming that song was playing during the bad weather.

I know TWC has the original CD's because they've had them since Trammell was in the normal rotation.  :D

Yeah, it's definitely just the original disc 1. It's a shame they don't use the other ones. :(

Yeah, that's my only complaint. After hearing every song on Disc 1 three or four times, they get kind of repetitive. Oh well, better the same 13 songs over and over then no Trammell at all!  :D

During this or other Trammell outages? No. It played back in the mid and late 1990s, though.
