Okay, I may sound Nuts to you all , but I'm not. I'm one of those people that kinda like change.
For some reason, I still have WeatherStar XL, but don't know why.... My friend lives just 10 miles north of me and he has IntelliStar. I asked him and he didn't know. I can't figure out why. Now could it be me having Insight Cable and my Friend having Time Warner Cable? And if that's so, Why our local cable company (insight) update it? I know you guys don't know the exact answer, but could it be that it costs money to upgrade or something?
Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm not against XL, I'm just trying to get an answer for something that I have been trying figure out for a while now.
Thanks,
Robert

You company probably has a low budget and thus can't upgrade.

Any way you could get some screenshots or videos of your XL? I'm sure everyone here would be interested in seeing them.

Hmmm.:hmm: Insight is a small company... only available in Northern KY.

I'll be happy to post some pictures and videos of it. Might as well enjoy the classics while it lasts. Sooner or later, it's going to change...

Robert is there anyway of streaming your XL on ustream like CriminalCola?

To be honest, I never understood the hype about the XL. There's nothing rea special about it, IMO. Up until October, it looked pretty much the same as the IS. :dunno:

It goes back a lot further than the IS does. There's your difference.

It's one of those TWC classics that are slowly fading away. I'm one of those that like the classics
About the live streaming, I Can't figure out how to stream XL Live on ustream. If anyone could tell me how, I might give it a shot.:)

We used to have an XL too back when Insight was still in Illinois. We lost ours since March 2004. I just wish Comcast would bring it back.

For a cable company with a smaller budget and equipment that still works fine I see no reason to upgrade. IS features like traffic most likely are not going to be in your area. Thats a big reason not to upgrade IMO.
