I think 2004/2005 featured the best music overall in this modern era.

I am inclined to agree. Of all music from 2000-2010, I think 2000, 2004 and 2005 are some of the better years for TWC music. I'd say i put in the year 2000 as a transitional year, since a lot of '90s songs aired in 2000, thus giving the 2000 TWC music a "90's feel". So I guess I should say 2004 and 2005 are the best years of all TWC music used between 2001-2011.

This ↑.   Those were two of my favorite years of TWC (and not just the music) as well.  I'm going to throw 2003 in on my list, too.

I agree, 2003-2005 had the best music followed by 2008.

Anything from 1996 to 2000. That was my favorite time watching TWC.

Torcuato Mariano - A Very Special Place
Joe Sample - Spellbound
Physical Therapy - Wishbone
Jean Luc Ponty - Story Teller, Amazon Forest
Rippingtons - Black Diamond
Craig Peyton - Good Morning
Most of Ficara

...and of course all of Trammell Starks.

If there had of been a Christmas playlist this year, I would have liked for them to use some of the songs they haven't used in years, even decades.

"The Song of the Evergreen" by Kostia
"Asleep the Snow Came Flying" by Tim Story
"The Coventry Carol" & "Good King Wenceslas" by John Nilsen
"What Child Is This" by Peter Buffett
"Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring" by Russ Freeman
"Angels We Have Heard On High" by Kurt Bestor
"The First Noel" by Spencer Brewer
"A Christmas Terrell" by Eddie Terrell
"Good King Wenceslas" and "I Saw Three Ships" by Mannheim Steamroller
"It Came Upon A Midnight Clear" by John Nilsen
"Away In A Manger" by Kenny G
"O Little Town Of Bethlehem" & "Silent Night" by Ficara
"The Christmas Song" by Chet Atkins
"We Wish You A Merry Christmas" by Ottmar Liebert
"Away In A Manger" & "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing"by Steve Glotzer
"Steppin Home For The Holidays" by Jeanne Ricks
Michael Colone enough said. :P

There's more, but I'll it at there.

That one is certainly one of my favorites.

I wish some good old Vince Guaraldi could play on the LFs once again.  Hearing these selections in "A Charlie Brown Christmas" last night made me realize how much I miss them.

It would be great to hear this peaceful, lullaby-like song again. When I hear it it makes me wanna drift off into a daydream all day and all night long.

Can't say this enough...

Simple Pleasures - Jeanne Ricks.... the original, not the :censored: TWC Jazz CD version.
