If they weren't played like every other new list sure...That gets very tiresome after a  while even more so now that the lists last longer than they did before.

The primetime has not been very impressive.  Back to the same old 09/10 repeats. The best song might be the Metameme remix.

I love this playlist. Best one of the year, even with a so/so daytime playlist. But if Kiss of Life is playing on primetime and Aperture on morning, then why did this two songs play on the other dayparts vice-versa?

Also, very little repeats. The only playlist with repeats is Daytime (2), Morning (1) and Primetime (5)

I really like this list! Except I would prefer the regular version of "Peaceblaster" opposed to the funked up New Orleans remix, but oh well. All in all, I am quite pleased.

I also like repeats--just maybe not a TON. It brings a sense of familiarity that somehow soothes me.

And there aren't many common songs on the primetime and overnight list that I can see...

Yeah, just wish the trend of primetime jazz would have continued. This is the first time in at least a couple months there isn't really a jazz song there.

Actually, the content ID system has nothing to do with Explosions in the Sky videos being yanked from Youtube, but rather them DMCAing the videos with their songs in them, thus giving you a copyright strike.  :hmm:

If anyone wants Andre Parker's "Woo Woo Woo", it's actually slightly retitled as "Wow Wow Wow" and it's available here:
Wow wOw Wow. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rGUE4dGd-A#)

Wow wow wow is an appropriate name for it! It is my favorite overnight song, after Will You Be There.

Steve Oliver did have a hand in producing Who Now Do You Love. I knew it sounded like his style.  :)

Got a reply from Melissa M.. no wonder why Whisper to Me hasnt been playing...  :pinch:

Hi Zach,

The problem you note with “Whisper To Me”  is due to the programming clock change to full-screen locals playing only at :28 and :58 past every hour. “Whisper” is scheduled only in the :60 and :90 second Locals. Since we are now only doing 2-minute Locals during the afternoon, that song does not play. It may pop up during severe weather or hurricane coverage (when we activate :60 and 90 locals). However, our team will investigate moving that title to overnight.

We are actually playing two different segments of “Kiss of Life” in the morning and prime time playlists. Several parts of that song sound very similar to “Aperture”, but “Kiss of Life” is the only Ryan Farish title playing in Prime Time.

Thanks,

They might as well make overnight have 20 songs.

Wow, Zach, thanks for the update. How is Whisper to Me only supposed to play on 90 second locals, if they played on full 2 min locals during the playlist debut? Also if you haven't already Zach, tell Melissa that Aperture is playing on primetime instead of Kiss of Life, instead. They're using the different cut for the wrong song. You can use my two Aperture clips on YouTube as a comparsoin.

As always, please alert us if you do hear Whisper to Me and/or Kiss of Life. I'll be sure to spring my tuner into action..

I couldn't sleep as I've been thinking about a lot of things, so I listened to this entire playlist and ranked my top ten songs from it:

Once again, I feel like my view of music is so different compared to everyone else.  I couldn't find a single song that I liked on the primetime and overnight lists, yet you all could.  Furthermore, I think this playlist is worse overall than the last one, but you all think the opposite.  In some ways, the beginning of my #1 song really describes how I feel about this matter and my life sometimes.  Am I really that weird when it comes to musical tastes?

I do agree with your list but Kiss of Life isn't on primetime, I think you mean Aperture. They erroneously labeled Aperture as Kiss of Life on Primetime.

I don't know about you guys, but I am kinda surprised that October is coming to an end, and possibly this playlist, too. It doesn't seem like this playlist has lasted for almost 2 months. I still haven't familiarized myself with most of the songs since I'm away from home. I am not tired of this playlist either, for once.

I agree. I guess both TWC limiting LFs last month and our time away due to college are both to blame.

I'm Waiting For You is probably my least favorite song by Jackiem Joyner.  On top of that, it is overplayed in the daytime. S7ven Large is starting to overplay too.

Really? I've been trying to get an HD clip of that song back at home, and it's the only song that fails to play on a 2 min whenever I'm at home. Maybe i'm just unlucky.
