Satellite Warning Crawl activated...
« on: September 05, 2008, 08:23:52 PM »
I was wondering when this was finally going to happen! TWC is currently using the orange warning crawl on the Dish Intellistar to crawl the latest public advisory on Hanna. Also, the time is currently frozen on Mountain Time, but it isn't labeled at all, just like a local Intellistar.

Being that Dish Network is headquartered in Meridian, Colorado; I think that's why it's frozen on Mountain Time.

I'll probably ask the TWC STAR Team on TWC Classics to make some minor adjustments if you haven't already.

It was probably set to run for just 30 minutes. There will probably be more throughout the next day or so.

:offtopic: Why is Mike Bettes in the studio? I thought he was in New York City.

Quote from: Spring Rubber
This is almost sick, TWC is deploying Mike Bettes to New York City tomorrow to prepare for the vague possibility for Hannah to make landfall there as a WEAK TROPICAL STORM! OMG WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!! :whistling:
