Finally managed to get the playlist before airtime, again. Based on the songs this is a really good playlist! I'm thrilled to see Jacob Archer's music again, but they didn't bother playing "Birds of Paradise" or "Journey into the Unknown".
-
As the Crow Flies! Home! Kick-ass! Those two songs alone make the playlist yet another great one! I assume its because they were played 5 years ago.
Hopefully they don't screw up the time-ins, though. :hmm:
They do really need to STOP playing Chris Geith and Yvonne Ayers... <_<
-
Wow, I love Home! Does anyone know where I can get this song?
-
Very nice! Home is one of my all time favorites!
-
I love that Bodhi song! Certainly a different style of New age similar to Jacob Archer and Ryan Farish. Same goes for GOODING.
-
Oh wow! "You Make Me Smile" by Dave Koz again!! I have a clip of that song which aired exactly a year ago.
-

Here's where i found Home by Drew Moroz 1 min clip (http://www.guitar9.com/itsforever.html)
-
Drew Moroz's CD is pretty good. It was kinda hard for me to find it. Think I found it 4 years ago though.
-
Nowadays its pretty easy to find. CD Baby has it, and I believe it can be found on Amazon as well. B)
-
wow only 2 Ryan Farish Songs
-
arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh, I thought for sure the playlist would start today. It started on Sundays in the past months. Guess not this time. <_<
-
I know, I heard "Effiliation" by Scott Ward and was surprised that the Nov. Playlist had not started
-
Just heard Atlantic Whispher from Jacob Archer's Urban Rain CD
-
The playlist started! It started officialy at 6:58 am with Listening Pleasures by Eldredge Jackson. I woke early to see if new music started or not :P
-
Oh wow! "You Make Me Smile" by Dave Koz again!! I have a clip of that song which aired exactly a year ago.
I heard that song at 3:28 PM CST.
Also, I heard Feelin' Fine by Spyro Gyra on Music Choice's Smooth Jazz secition yesterday.
-
I heard Feelin' Fine by Spyro Gyra. I have that on my Imeem playlist.

i'm having a terrible time recording clips today. The same song is playing 3-4 times all on 2 minute flavors. I only have 5-7 out of 12 possible songs during a 2 hour timeframe so far.
-
Just heard "Scenic Route" by Bryan Savage. That;s not in this month's playlist.

Maybe they are phasing in the new playlist.
-
Just heard Scenic Route again. That song plays soooooooooo much!!! :faint:
-
Uploaded a few clips of the playlist on
youtube.com/user/ThunderFever
I only have 7 clips so far. I'll try to record some more tomorrow.
-

I like that song.
Better than hearing the crappy Yvonne Ayers and Chris Gite songs.

I like it too. But it gets on my nerves when I hear it EVERY time I turn on TWC..
-
TWC definitely needs to overhaul their "Randomization" algorithm...
-
Of course, he had to :censored:-up the time-in for "As The Crow Flies". :censored:
-
I'm waiting to record Crimea II by Bodhi, my favorite song, so I won't upload overnight songs just yet, but can someone ID this overnight song? It sounds so weird:
http://files.filefront.com/Nov+Over+4+wmv/;12292277;/fileinfo.html
My video with "Dont Mind If I Do" by Joyce Cooling was removed on YT from a UMG notice  so I uploaded it on FF for anyone interested:

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that's "Hot Shot" by Johnny Young.
-
That's what I'm guessing. It has a "Classic" feel to it, and Johnny is a "Classic" name so I guess that would make a perfect fit. I love that song!

On second thought, it might be Edward Hogan Jr (aka E Power). Johnny Young is a blues artist, so it can't be him.
-
Wow, that's an interesting theory you have there, Vic.
-
Found the song!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWRzpVE3dNA It's indeed "Walk in Step" by Ed Hogan.
-
Is there a clip of that song? I just realized E Power is indeed Ed Hogan. Must be a new CD but it doesn't sound similar to that song.

Did you even bother to click the link I just posted? :wall:
-
I never saw your post. The last post I saw was Gary's.
-
That E. Power song back in April was downright terrible.

That E. Power song back in April was downright terrible.
I thought the song was pretty good.
Northern Winds by Chris Geith is an awesome song! Probably the best chris geith song TWC has aired to date. I love the background beat, very new-agey

Here's "Crimea II" by Bodhi:

Question: Which song is the one that, in the second half of the Local, sounds like they ripped the underground music from Super Mario Brothers?
(And please tell me that I'm not the only one who hears it.)

When did you hear that song? is it Daytime?

Daytime (but it was after FFN, tho.)

Daytime (but it was after FFN, tho.)
It's probably "Northern Winds" by Chris Geith. That song has a dreamy, sound to it.

Your right, it does sound like the Super Mario Bros. theme
-
Doesn't sound like it to me. :dunno:
I like that song.
-
I don't like that song, it sucks. There are very few CC Gilmore songs that I actually like. I only have around 4 out of some 20 (guessing) CC Gilmore songs that were used.

To be honest, 99% of CC Gilmore songs all sound the same. They all seem to by my "style" though.
-
Does anyone have an overnight 2 minute clip of Home by Drew Moroz?

The time-in for this song is very good actually.
-
It's good to see we're not hearing Scott Ward this month. While he has decent music, his music was used a lot since they started playing it back in June.
-
If only they'd kill off Christ Geith and Yvonne Ayers (from the playlist, that is).
Seriously, the Chris Geith music since July has been god awful. It all sounds the same. (and really bad quality too).
-
OK, I got an email from Patrick Yandall about his song Down Under and he said this is not his song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29BADEARuU4
That sucks, that's a really good song. Anyone know who composes this then?
-
Isn't Return of the Eagle by Craig Chaquico on the IntelliSTAR back up playlist?

I figured it was Yandall's. I have all his jazz CDs (he also composed a blues-rock album) Tested every song TWC hasnt used and it didnt check out. TWC and its clerical errors

I wish they can quit it with the playlist errors. It sounds kinda like a Steve Glotzer song.
