Does anyone know what the font for the temps/current conditions/etc. is on the LDLs? :dunno:

The font is called DIN.

I'm surprised the IntelliStar can handle those graphics. I remember hearing how the 2008 LDL was even pushing the STAR's limitations.

I agree...this whole switching between two LDLs is really goofy...you can make a national map for one and it looks fine, but then the other it looks really stupid and probably covers a bunch of information.  Completely uncalled for!  Oh well...

I just noticed the switch of forecast data on the national LDL. At about 3:41 PM ET, the forecast temperature data for Tuesday was missing, but Wednesday was still present. And then at about 3:42, the LDL froze on Sacramento for about a minute. When it finally got moving again, the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday was showing.

I don't know what or where the national LDL is getting it's data from. I had thought it was running on Viz, but now I'm not too sure, because it wasn't showing the customary "-" for missing data.

yep, it's also showing on Dish Network too, i guess Dish and Direct are showing the same national LDL and not a special Satellite LDL bar.

Yeah, I'm noticing a clock on the lower left hand corner of my LDL (bigger one at the moment). But it's so far down there that my TV cuts half of it off. I also notice it cycles through the 4 main time zones, oddly enough.

Thanks for the screenshots. The clock is on the actual national LDL feed. It's in the "window" area of the local LDL, which was originally meant for placement of the ad. Good to see that TWC is using that blank space somewhat productively.
