From the youtube video, it appears TWC is finally acknowledging the big waste of space in the bottom of the screen since they switched to the projector instead of the green screen. Hopefully it also means that the left side of the screen will no longer be taken up on the HD feed, as having the left bar really reduces the impact of HD.

Yes this does solve that problem with the SD feed and I am glad about that. Dont think there were any pans for the HD feed sadly. They need to make it horizontal

Believe me, as bad as it looks it SD all that extra space looks even worse on HD. Too bad they won't transition the HD feed at the same time (do they ever)?

Ive been thinking about that. It looks a little awkward now but with the new graphics its going to look really strange!
