I found a clip on youtube this one is in Peoria, IL from 10/08. Maybe WeatherSTARIII knows more about this 4000...  :bleh: :P

I just saw the video and I notice that the radar map is nudged slightly to the southwest of the Greater Peoria Airport ("PIA").

Here's what I'm talking about from the video:

When we had our 4000 through TCI (now Comcast) as I remember, it looked something like this:

I even notice that TheWeatherChazz made this map when I entered for the WeatherSTAR Emulator contest

Notice in the video that Chazz has the map just nudged slightly lower from what I remember back when we had our real 4000. But still, it looks pretty close to what I remember.

Anyways, TCI of Central Illinois (now Comcast) lost our 4000 back in September 1999 as I remember. Comcast now has an IntelliSTAR (22878) and that 4000 that was found was from Mediacom (unknown STAR ID) according to the person who recorded it.

But still, I never knew until now that their was still a 4000 from my hometown! I may possibly be the old one that Comcast use to have...  :hmm:
