Miles Davis on PBS
« on: June 01, 2009, 12:22:24 AM »
This Tuesday Night at 10:30PM, "The Sound Of Miles Davis" will be airing on KERA-TV (PBS Affiliate) in DFW. This 1/2 hour special shows a 1959 performance by the Miles Davis Quintet (Davis, John Coltrane, bassist Paul Chambers, drummer Jimmy Cobb and pianist Wynton Kelly) best known for "So What?" and "Freddie Freeloader" on the LFs, backed by an orchestra conducted by Gil Evans.

I don't know if it's gonna be airing on your local PBS station, but if it does, check your local listings...knowing that times on each PBS station varies.
