-
Nice! I like all four of the instrumental songs. Also, I haven't heard "Yen on a Carousel" on TWC since the May 2009 playlist! Nice few additions!
-
I may upload all the instrumentals from this playlist.
-
what I got :18
John Williams - The Homecoming :28
Imagine Dragons - Tiptoe :38
-
I thought I heard some different music earlier when I had TWC on!
-
1:58am The Lumineers "Ho Hey"
-
I haz a feeling this is another "best of" playlist before changes are made to LOT8s, similar to what happened in 2009 and 2011. So I would enjoy this while it lasts...
-
It sounds to me like I may have to set aside a TWC-watching day next week. I also agree with Mike about changes being in the air for the near future. This might be trouble. :noexpression:

What makes you say so? Last I heard I thought TWC was behind in their local forecast updates.
I like a lot of the songs they chose this month, even if they're repeats from 2009.
-
They are adding more songs to the playlist.
"The Long Run" by The Eagles 6:48pm.
"Annie Waits" by Ben Folds 6:58pm.
I'll take a check later for any other adds and post them.

they must be adding random songs from a music website. the thing that doesn't make sense is wouldn't artists have a problem for not being notified their music is airing on TWC?
-
Here's a full list of the added songs.

May 21st : Falling Star: Ryan Farish
-
The playlist is all instrumentals since May 21st.

The playlist is all instrumentals since May 21st.
one of my friends did get a reply from TWC's Local On The 8's support today saying "Smooth Jazz is less likely to play going forward" and he also asked if New Age and Instrumentals will continue to air in the future and the reply was "Unknown at this point."
-
I'm disappointed but not surprised in the least. It sounds like there won't even be anymore of Ryan Farish on the list if what they say about the instrumentals is true. Even during severe weather I suppose we'll hear vocal music if that pans out.
Now, I'm not opposed to the music that they've played this year in and of itself, as some of it is good music. However, there should be a distinction drawn between "good music" and "good music for LOT8's." The two are not mutually inclusive IMHO. It makes me wish that there was a way to set up my DirecTV box to take the audio from Sonic Tap Smooth Jazz whenever a LF comes up. It wouldn't be perfect, but it may well be better than what we have now.
On the topic of the May playlist, I wonder if it will continue after the Storm Alert-esque mode ends. Will it instead be time for the June playlist? I note that I'm making this post on the first day of a month. I used to look forward to the first of the month back in the day. Not much reason now, though...

It's still instrumental as of today, and I must say, I FREAKIN LOVE Ryan Farish's "Falling Star"
-
I don't know if I'm just watching at the wrong times, but in the last two days I have only been hearing like 3 songs... one is Montana Girl and then two new age songs.
-
I believe the play list is changing.
They just played "Tennessee" by The Wreckers at 10:38pm
Have they used that song before?
