At least I d like to think its major discovery, if u consider recording songs such as The Passage and Cocoon their entirety. I found a link with the help of Gil to a production music site where u can listen to a bunch on TWC songs by CC Gilmore and Samuel Lincoln. Of course the songs are retitled, and the drawback is the site is foreign i think chinese. I dont speak chinese but I know how sites are laid out, at it works whenever it wants to (it messes up a lot :( ) . The songs are in cassette quality though ( lo -fi) unfortunately. but the songs I found and listened to are:
The Passage
Cocoon
Tempest Wind
Park Place
Nothern Lights
Twenty Three Skidoo
Above The Horizon
Into Your Soul
Under The Stars
The link ishttp://www.mib.net.cn (http://www.mib.net.cn) warning - the site acts up a lot so u might get errors and whatnot. But when the site works u can search frank josephs and the songs retitled from the manpower site will appear near the end of the search...pages 20-24. Figured I'd post this for anyone interested in going thru the hassle as i did. Though I havent searched them you guys can try other artists such as Steve Glotzer, Jeanne Ricks, Yvonne Ayers (Leon Ayers Jr) etc.
-
Can you provide us with their names for these songs?
-
Man Power music/chinese site name (length on chinese site) TWC title (when it was used)
Waterfalls, Pina Coladas and You (3:27) The Passage (5/04)
In The Mouth of The Lion (2:37) Into Your Soul (4/04)
She Had It All (3:19) Twenty Three Skidoo (9/07)
Walk To Me Like That (3:07) Park Place (7/04)
Jus' Playin' With You (2:22) Cocoon (4/04 daytime)
What I Owe (3:22) Under The Stars (4/04 primetime)
Still Feels Right (2:58) Above The Horizon (3/07)
Driving West On Sunset (2:47) Tempest Wind (7/07)
Arrow To My Heart (2:44) Northern Lights(4/04)
These may be off by a second or two since the lengths i took are from the finished CD I made after recording them
-
So they're all full length clips that you recorded? My computer will crash if i visit sites like these :(
-
Yes. They are full length songs, that I made on a CD
-
I don't know how you got the results. I typed in Frank Josephs and i got nothing :hmm:
Can you directly post the link with the results, if possible?
-
I cannot directly link to the results, because one thing I forgot to say is that you have register to hear the songs.. it was a real pain...I cannot speak chinese so I had "interpret" my way through the site layout by hovering over the buttons and seeing the action (in English) at the bottom of the browser. It was a hassle, like I said at the beggining of the thread but I did it
-
Lucky you. I cannot see anything in english unfortunately.
-
you have to kinda hover over the buttons below what appears to be the login field on the upper left hand side of the screen when u click onthe link that I gave you the button will say something to the extent of a register action in English at the bottom of your browser not the site itself. itll take u to a page and u register entering a username and password of your choice, thatll be the first 3 fields of that page.....username -password-reenter pass - thats it. then go back to the link I gave at the beggining of is thread and type "Frank Josephs" you will find the manpower titles near the end of the search, pages 20-24. Good luck
-
Now the site isn't working for me. i'll try later. thanks for the info though!
-
i checked the bottom of my browser and found out i don;t have a browser status bar.
Could you upload the songs on another link then? try googlepages.com. if u have gmail. then simply type your email username and pass, and then upload the files. then link them here.

Is "Her Smile" by Lincoln featured on this site? It was one of my favorite songs from the January 2005 playlist.
-
No. Her Smile however is available on www.gmpmusic.com and search for CD A/V 234. The song is retitled as "A World Away"
-
:( sorry but i can't read chinese and my google translator won't work on that site .
-
Unbelievable. I might have to buy the song, to get the Hi-Fi, but its worth it!
