I think that it should be out by late December or anytime after that.
What are you even talking about? Don't expect it any time soon (i.e. as in more than likely not within the year).

How many times is Tyler going to have to repeat that?

I agree that the LF is probably the best thing TWC has got going for them.  An HD STAR for HD viewers is great.  It is not going to be a waste when it does come out.  TWC has to adjust to the changes in TV.

The Localonthe8s HD for cablevision is still the same. Only minor thing to point out is that they fixed the pixelation issue while the LF starts and transitions in to the Current Conditions map. No clip, sorry.

Wow, I'm surprised it's still working after the motherboard problem the STAR had in October.

But there are recurrent audio problems. The music keeps fading in and out in volume. The audio is fine on the SD feed though

When the HD local forecast rolls out nationwide, are all the units going to be regionalized like how the NYC-based system is configured, with forecasts for several different cities and multiple maps throughout the metropolitan area?

You might be right mike, another possibility if a city is not a metropolitan area they would just go with regional maps with the other products after them.

It won't be regionalized. Products will be local - just like they are now.

maybe the regionalized view is a test for weather scan HD.

Its not the ratings will be too low buts its too much of a waste of bandwidth for companies to do. Cost is another issues as well
