Did anyone even bother emailing TWC about them removing Trammell? I am curious to know why they removed the trammell from the emergency feed, too.

I decided to whip up this list of the new emergency feed songs here and it probably will expand later as more errors happen.

I could barely see where that link was located in your sentence, but thanks for the list.
Sorry, Patrick :pinch: I should also note that I have yet to hear these, but I only listed ones said by members here and ones captured in Youtube videos.

You can email Melissa Medori yourself, right?

I think 8 times in one month is enough for her, Zach ;)

Victor, it shouldn't matter. Melissa probably receives upwards of more than 100 emails per day pertaining to TWC info, including local forecast stuff. I have emailed her twice in one day in the past, and she still responded both times.

I find it pretty cool that this Melissa lady takes the time to respond to so many emails w/ no problem and I assume she probably replies back quickly. That's really good too, some people who work in other venues where they have to answer questions via emails don't care to help or take time to respond to questions, comments, and concerns. :)

Indeed. I like her much more than the Hoitsma guy. At least Melissa gives us some "insider tidbits" about the LF and its music at times, and addresses unique issues such as playlist troubles, emergency feed, local forecast changes, programming changes, etc...something other employees at the network probably won't care to discuss about it

Hi Pavel,

Thank you for your feedback. The music on The Weather Channel has been evolving over the last several years toward a more appropriate play list. The music played during full-screen Local on the 8s on The Weather Channel during the afternoon and morning day parts continues to adapt. Going forward, our music team will keep investigating different genres to stay fresh and align with The Weather Channel brand.

Enjoy your week,
Melissa
