General HD Satellite LF Discussion
« on: May 20, 2009, 10:29:58 PM »
Since I didn't see a topic to talk about the HD Satellite LF, I'll start one here. :)
I also apologize if there already is one. ;)

I was requested to take pics of all the screens on the HD Satellite LF, so here's the K Flavor pics on my server.

I also know that the images look distorted because neither of my tuners take images in 16:9. :hmm:

This issue was confirmed about a week ago by Springy (Spring Rubber) of the HD Satellite LF having white squares in the 5-Day Forecast at 3:00 AM ET on the 2:58 AM ET every night.

speaking of which...I was watching TWC HD at a friends house a couple of days ago, but there wasn't an HD Satellite Forecast...they have AT&T U-Verse, it was the regular satellite forecast, anyone know why this was so?

Was there an LDA (left display area) on the regular broadcast?

Here's the HD Forecast Courtesy of SpringRubber

I like the forecast, but i wish it would get some Graphical changes before the HD Star's come out hopefully by the fall.

That was the SD feed. The LDA is always on studio programming on TWC.

If it were TWC HD, wouldn't you have seen it in 16:9?

Is it me, or does it seem that the background on the radar/forecast map look a lot lighter?
