How come the application LF on DirecTV hasn't been updated with the new icons? I still see the old icons and not the "cheeseballs"..
-
It may take a long time for it to happen. IIRC, Dish still had XL icons on their app in 2008 and may still do...
-
Not really a tech support question. An update has to be pushed to every box and thats probably easier said than done

I'm sure they can do it. If the icon issue was big enough to cause a new set to be released, then DirecTV should have the same thing. (there are more DirecTV viewers than those who have an XL, 4000, etc)

I'm sure they can do it to. It's just not a priority right now.

It seems a lot of things like the music isn't priority right now. What is a priority for TWC now then?

The HD star...

The HD star...
I don't see why that would prevent them from changing music every month. That's done by Brian Picard who is in an entirely different department.

IIRC, Tony has part to do with the changing of playlists as well.

No I'm pretty sure he only works with STARs. Brian is the sole music programmer afaik.

IIRC, I don't think Brian is in charge or music any more. Or at least he's not the only person in charge.

I asked Trance Fury this a few weeks ago and he replied "It's still Brian. I wrote him a few weeks ago and asked. " So like you said he is still there but may not be alone

Tony actually does the music as well parttime with Brian Picard. Bob Geresti told me awhile back he selected his music fo rairplay in the May 08 playlist.

I Agree with Tyler the HD Star is TWC's #1 priority
We're just going to wait and see what happens next.
