No. We don't allow sending full songs in any way, shape, or form on this board. So don't ask people to PM, email, whatever for the full song.

This song was already identified awhile back.

yeah it was. Also, is ReyDDD felipe?? The two names are similar
-
No, he is not Felipe.
Stephen, you screwed up. Big time. Refer to the rules please. And understand them. Full songs ARE allowed to be posted ehre but only if its LEGAL. If the song was legally posted, it was ok. Unfortunately, you took matters into your own hands (again) without understanding the rules.
-
When can i get the jacob archer songz on CD?
-
Also i have "Just Like That" by Jay Soto.

I'm not sure if it was legally posted or not. The link was to a file on RapidShare, which led me to believe it wasn't legally posted. If it was on an official site, then I probably would've left it.
-
and whats site is for you a "legal" place to share music? LimeWire?

No, Limewire I believe is illegal.

No, Limewire I believe is illegal.
The LimeWire program itself is technically not illegal (it's just a peer-to-peer file sharing program), but it is used for illegal file sharing (i.e. music).

e-mails?

e-mails?
What do you mean?
-
if someone wants one of the 2 themes that i want to share.
-
Since we're talking about Jacob Archer, a link to his myspace (http://www.myspace.com/jacobarcher) would be the way to go.
-
Also i have "Just Like That" by Jay Soto.
...and we're talking about jacob archer.
-
thats no good.

Rey, you need to clarify some things. First of all, I need to know what exactly it was you were posting. Were you posting a link to a song on another webiste? If so, please repost the link so that I may investigate it. If indeed the song is from a site that is sharing it illegally, I will have to disallow the sharing of it here. I can't control what you do outside of my site (nor do I care to), so if I determine that the link is illegal, you may do what you wish. However, you may not use the PM system here to talk to people about e-mailing them the song. IMO, talking about sharing an illegally obtained song is just as illegal as actually obtaining the song.
-
RapidShare is a share website (you can exchange docs, music, vids), and is not illegally, i get the song via MySpace Music.
-
Everything seems legit to me about Rapidshare. Seems like another FilePlanet type of place. However, I still need some clarification. Did you purchase the song from MySpace music, or is it available there for free? Forgive me for not knowing, but I have not dealt with MySpace music.
-
no, i dont purchased the theme, i ripped-off from the site and the MySpace Flash Player.

In other words, he posted it illegally and Stephen did the correct thing (according to Gary's rules).
-
Yup that's correct. I'm sorry Rey, but I cannot allow you to post songs obtained that way. Though I'm glad now that Stephen removed the link, at the time he did so without even consulting me. I never got the chance to check it out for myself. As you know, if the song was being offered legally, its a whole different story. I was under the impression that that was the case.

A little cranky?
-
Not at all. If anything, I was agitated by the fact that he'd made the final judgement without even consulting me. He removed the link, but didn't even bother to PM it to me so that I could review it myself, and either confirm or overturn his decision. That was the problem. I was completley in the dark because I wasn't given any information at all. I don't mind him making decisions like that at all. Just give me some information so that I can look into it too. This is my board after all, so I certainly deserve a chance to review all issues for myself.
Do you disagree?

I agree. Just check the board on the issurs on music posting. Well do you think he should be banned for doing something without consulting you? But the real point was that was he doing music sharing illegally?
