Anyone know this song? It sounds so familiar, but I can't remember the name.

Holiday Dance by Michael Colone. Available in itunes!

Thanks Thunder! I don't know how I forgot that song. :wall:

Yeah really. If you liked the LF music of the 90's, you can be assured a taste of it every Christmas.

I think so. For one thing, what they played then was a completley different type of music from what they play today. These days almost everything they play has a mainstream sound. That's one reason I don't like it. If I were interested in mainstream jazz I'd turn on the local jazz station on the radio. Back in the 90's you could actually make a distinction between jazz and TWC music.

I'm probably not explaining this as clearly as I'd like to, but anyone whose been watching TWC sine the 90's probably knows what I'm talking about.

IMO, yes...a lot better. More variety. The programmer wasn't afraid to play sappy or goofy songs. Of the clips I listened to here, it does not put me in the Christmas mood. Very bland, if you ask me. But in looking at the actual list, I think I'll have to tune in for a while. I see a few good (or at least promising) songs on it.

It's not a matter of them not playing my favorite songs, it's more about how (to me) the songs they've chosen this year don't sound very Christmasy. Some of them sound like the artist was forced to put together a Christmas CD at the last minute. No passion in the songs whatsoever.
