Does TWC use a different version of Soul Finger than the one that's on iTunes? The version on iTunes has a much heavier use of drums in it than TWC's version (which I like better).

Does anyone know if this playlist will continue into November?  That seems to be the recurring trend lately.

If they go by the pattern they have been this year then yes, it would, but we'll have to wait and see.
There will probably be a Nov list next week or the week after. If there is no Nov music, I'd imagine they'd use the "best-of" 2009 playlist for December like 2 weeks early. I am kinda tired of this playlist already though.
I agree. Its gotten old for me

They used to always start these playlists at the beginning of the month. Not sure why they decided to stop doing this, makes no sense that they just start it on a random day of the month.

Waiting for Melissa's Response, but none yet the playlist might still be processing through the copyright process until at least Thursday imo.

The music team has a bigger workload lately thanks to four time slots for a monthly playlist and a weekly WUWA playlist that they must fill.  I can see these delays becoming the norm. :hmm:

The WUWA playlist actually changes daily now, so I can see why.

And licensing the songs also plays a big role to the delay of playlists. Licensing smooth jazz songs is straighforwarded, but when licensing songs from big bands and groups this takes more time to get the permission and rights from them.

Yeah, when you add up everything that you both said, it's not shocking at all to see things behind.  I'm pretty sure that TWC is putting out the most LF songs per month in their entire history if my memory is correct on the amounts of songs in previous years.

Same here. I like this playlist, but it's needs to go. I am ready to hear new songs.
