Does 7and5 have a CD out? I just got this email from Melissa Medori:
Quote
Hi Aaron,

The July playlist is not yet finalized, but feel free to check back in a few days.  To submit music, you are welcome to send a song, in compact disc format, to Local Forecast Music, The Weather Channel, 300 Interstate N. Pkwy, SE, Atlanta, GA 30339.
and I would like to send a CD down there ASAP.

Tavores, it is for sure your specific Comcast headend. Like I said in a previous post in this thread, it happened to the E.L. headend back in late May. This is bound to happen to every headend across the country at some point, we just don't know how many headends it happens to and how frequently because there are only a limited amount of us who would even know what is going on. I would suggest reporting it to the STAR team at TWC Classics. That method seems to have worked for Alejandro.
I had a similar problem back in January where my feed was black, but I was still getting the local ad insets. The feed then returned later that day, but for a month after that my headend, located in Cherry Hill, was pulling a feed from the Willingboro headend, and therefore received their Burlington-based IntelliStar. The problem was finally fixed on February 4 after contacting Comcast many times about it.

Bet that was a real pain to explain to the comcast support!

I think the music randomizer is broken...the same guitar song that repeats over and over has repeated over and over and over again for like the last hour.

I thought that was the case a couple days ago as well, so it's not just me that thinks the LF music randomization has been nonrandom lately.

Hmmm, TWC or the national IS doesn't seem to know what logo to cue at times, so it seems to cue the old one.

Wish they would just play the darn songs in order or make it so they each get played equally.

Yeah, I haven't heard "Colortones" by Ryan Farish, "Advanced Funk" by Maceo Parker, or "Distance to the Sun" by Gooding in a long time.

During the older days of TWC, the songs were played in order within their respective time slots.  I'm not sure why that has been changed. :dunno:

That seems to be the song of the day getting overused.

Exactly. The current method gives me a headache when I try to record all the songs from the playlist at the beginning of the month.
