Apparently, the LF only allows enough time for two forecast periods on the text based, no matter what flavor.......

My DirecTV receiver just cued a Local Forecast during identification...

[2009-06-08T21:08-0500] Update: It happened again during LOT8s open!

[2009-06-09T02:10-0500] Update: My DirecTV receiver just went through an entire LF without cuing.

Does anyone know the old XL v.2 1 minute flavor lineup? I swore it included the regional forecast and the daypart forecast, but I'm not too sure. And I haven't had any luck finding a video of it..

Pretty sure it did at one point, most likely from 2002-2003. This lineup is shown in one of the old release notes for the XL. But, the first lineup for XL v.2 was CC>Regional Conditions>Regional Forecast>EF>Radar, which I assumed lasted from the version 2 launch until the daypart was introduced in the spring of 2002.

Oh yes, that was the one. I don't know why I thought the daypart forecast was included. Thanks!

I just uploaded several August 2008 playlist clips I forgot about to YouTube. If there's demand I'll add more.

Well, big news today. I turned on TWC 45 minutes ago and I notced a few configuration changes. Charlotte, just SW of Lansing, was added on the Local Radar Screen. The almanac title was also changed to Lansing (instead of "Lansing Capital City Airport"), and the airport name under the airporttab on the LDL was changed from "Lansing Capital City Arpt" to "Capital Reg. Int'l Airport". Also, Grand Ledge, and Eaton Rapids, all outlying communities of Lansing and all in the same county as Charlotte, were added as additional current conditions sites under the "now" tab and also under te forecast tab. I am thinking that several units around the area were consolidated today. I called the STAR team with the number I was given, and I of course had to leave a voicemail. I will leave a notification on TWC Classics. What's worse, I come home this morning from the E.L. headend, and everything was as it previously was. I was not recording during the change :-(
I am noticing that looping info is also gone on the Local Forecast, and that there is absolutely no information on the station ID. Now, is this happening nationally? Is this just a new thing TWC is trying out, or could it actually be consolidation of Lansing area headends?

I haven't paid attention to any changes on my STAR, but I have seen blank station IDs today.

Well, I will upload a video momentarily of how it looks here in Lansing. My theory is that several units around the area consolidated into one- mine. I am going to my dad's place over there in Haslett to see if this is indeed the case.

Edit: I checked over my clip from this afternoon again. I see the looping information on the sat/rad product was gone for the 4:08 PM EDT LF but back for the 4:28 PM EDT LF. Thus, this big change (whatever it may be; I am not sure what has happened yet) most likely happened between 11 AM EDT and 11:30 AM EDT.

No blank station IDs, map changes, etc. My almanac does show No Report for the Yesterday Actual field.

Most of the time, when you mention your Star to the Star Team about requests, they make other tweaks to the system too. It doesn't necessarily mean there was a headend expansion.
