Then, how did mine and several others get their clips get removed? UMG claimed the copyright on all of those videos with music from those respective artists based on the YT notices.

I don't know, but you can clearly see that those are not UMG groups.  ;)

I'm guessing that no one at TWCC did any research to figure this out?

Those labels are affiliated with UMG. Motown and Verve are smaller record labels belonging to UMG. UMG is the parent company and owns these labels.

So your still going to try to argue with me, after looking at UMG's groups and seeing that those are NOT there?  :pinch:

Verve is its own entity, just like UMG. Its called Verve Music Group. Under it are the Verve and GRP labels. I told you it was not part of UMG.

The topic, then, was all wrong. Joyce Cooling is on the Narada label, Norman Brown has been on Warner and Motown labels (and only Motown is with Universal), Charlie Parker is on Rhino, Benoit is on GRP, Joe Sample is on Warner, Vince Guaraldi is on Fantasy, and Bernie Williams and Rippingtons are both GRP. Only one album from one artist is on a Universal label.
Interesting, because I got a copyright notice on YT for a Joe Sample song posted at it was from UMG, not Warner. I wonder why UMG claimed it instead of Warner.

I don't know. That's very puzzling indeed.

I'll say it again. You all can argue with me all you want, but the information is right there in front of your faces. I didn't make this up. I'm just passing along my findings on THEIR website.

All you have to do is go to Amazon and look up an album. Each listing tells you what label its on.

Looks like another TWC artist is dead. It's Johnny Young, whose song "Hot Shot" is airing on this month's overnight. It's kinda funny because that song was recently added to the BMI repertoire.

Did the orange text on the black LDL (for severe wx watches) always exist since the IntelliStar's debut? Because I don't recall ever seeing this on mine until mid 2005.

No, it did not exist until the 2005 relaunch. Or some point close to it.

This clip from April 2005 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fy9TY2u3Oo (The video's owner prevents external embedding)) has the orange text on it, so it has to be from then. I know I've been under severe weather watches in Summer 2004 and I can't recall seeing this. Maybe it was the Sept 2004 update? The first time I saw this on my Star was Summer 2005.

I don't think it was the September 2004 update. I'm 95% sure that the orange text was not around anytime before 2005.

I thought I remember seeing that orange text during severe weather on my IS in 2004, but I could be wrong.

You are. It hasn't been around that long.
