Like I said, it didn't work for me. It may work, becuase I have a BMI account, but I've only contacted BMI for that and got no reply. There not supposed to give out that info anyways so I'm not surprised BMI didn't reply.

From BMI. You can contact artists on BMI. BMI can give you contact info for any artist in their repertoire if you're lucky. They just won't give it to any Tom, Dick and Harry
Dude, I have a hard time getting contact info, how the hell can you pull it off?

LOL, I don't know, but you would be more entitled to it than he.

FINALLY! A 4000 in this area! I've been waiting 4 years (or since the emulator come out) to find one so I could get an accurate regional observations map!

I had no idea they had one in Bel Air though. Then again, it is a rather rural area, so maybe its not such a surprise.

That's strange that there's no sky CC or wind.

Yeah, b/c it comes from the baltimore Inner Harber, which doesn't record sky conditions. If 4000's weren't so difficult to make changes to, they could of changed the CC site to Martin State Airport.

Mike is correct. The Inner Harbor station has ever reported those conditions.

On a seperate note, is it really that diificult to change the reporting site on a 4000?

Yes, the Star Team has confirmed awhile back that it is difficult to make changes to 4000's these days. I don't understand why though, because it should be just as easy to make changes to it as it was when it was new.

Am I going crazy, or did I watch a TWC video earlier today on YouTube of the the satellite IntelliStar rebooting, the satellite company (I think Dish) inserting commercials, then a satellite local forecast with no LDL? I swear I watched a video like that and now I can't find it! :dunno:

EDIT: Found it:

It's all in the software, XL / IS / IS2 are all controlled by Intel / PC Hardware and PC (modern) software, where as the 4000's deal with Intel Macro / Assembly Language, cant remember which I just know its a totally different system from what is used to edit the x86 systems, programming an IS deals with a software key change where as with the 4000 its like reprogramming a eeprom chip.

So is the process of making changes to the XL basically the same as the IntelliStar, since both those units have a harddrive and OS (albeit different OS's)?

That is a rather difficult task then.

Pretty much, its like the difference between editing a text file (easily done via remote software) vs. reprogramming a chip (diffucult via remote software).
