yes, san antonio has had it for about a year now.
More than a year, because one day I stayed at San antonio in Summer 2005 and they has Traffic Pulse.

i'm pretty certain we didn't get it in 2005...

Do you guys think this may be the same Billy Walsh who did music for TWC, including My Bed?

I thought it was, but I've tried contacting him several times, and have gotten no response.

That is an awesome song. Wish I had it. It sounds a lot like 16th and Mission by Glenn McNulty

A recent comment for your humor:

"More vocal music tryouts are expected for the fall of 2008 because the Weather Channel people are permanently switching to vocal music on the new unit."

Its possible. TWC has been bringing back lots of old tunes this year like Broad Sreet by George Howard, Trade Winds by Eddie Reasoner. Both Sides by Roger Smith, Homeward Bound by Patrick oHearn, Cool in the Shade by Russ Freeman etc.

Flavors are pretty much back to normal now, but the forecast for today is still unavailable, thus the "our local forecast" narration is heard on the 48 hour forecast. I've recorded the past four LF's and I'll have them uploaded early next week.

Here they are:

2:59 PM

3:08 PM

3:18 PM

3:28 PM

"Love of Strings" by Moby played at 2:59 PM. Isn't this song from the primetime playlist?

Probably because long-form programming used to be in the Primetime time slot, and it's possible that the LFs during the long-form programming is still programmed to use songs from the Primetime playlist.

That's quite possible. I heard that same song at 3:59 PM ET as well.
