I've been in contact with Trammell Starks via AIM, and he told me he plans on joining this forum and TWCC.
I've been talking to him as well. He's really nice.

I'm glad to hear that. It won't count for anything to this forum as he'll be at TWCC as well, but he'll certainly be a welcome addition regardless.

Why does the satellite LF seem to have white strips appear during the radar/satellite loop so often?

They're likely just spots of missing or corrupt data. It happens from time to time on all satellite imagery.

But it's been happening a lot more often now.

I see that all the time.  It's either missing data or information is not up to date from the computer that gives the radar images.

with programmer Brian Picard.

If you listen at 15 out 0f 20 minutes of the radio interview, Brian Picard  says that another smooth jazz cd will be released on the 29th of April.

EDIT: Found it! It's to be released on May 13, 2008 and is called "The Weather Channel Presents Best of Local on the 8s"

That's very interesting. I wonder which artists will be featured on the next CD.
