Does anyone have footage of what the 3000 showed on the ID screen in 2004?

i dont think i ever saw footage like that. I have only seen 3 STAR 3000 videos!

Is there video of a Junior's station ID screen?

The junior doesn't show a cable provider, ID, or a channel. It simply says "NewspaperL 53130" or "Radio 53140" I was wondering if the 3000 did that as well.

EDIT: You can see some of it here at about 6 minutes in the video.

The "Newspaper L" thing only started happening recently, maybe within the past 12 months. I highly doubt the 3000 ever showed that. I'm willing to bet the 3000's ID hasn't changed since the late 1980s/early 1990s.

Shaun has video of a junior in March 2006 showing the NewspaperL thing. Would 3000s show a cable provider logo, ID, and a channel?

I doubt the 3000 could ever show a cable company graphical logo. My guess it still had this layout in 2004:

Yeah, I don't think the Jrs and 3000s have the capability of using graphics.

The only graphics I ever saw on the 3000 were the occasional background graphics.  ;)

However, those weren't generated by the 3000. They were displayed by TWC on the "satellite LF".

No, I'm talking about the illustrated backgrounds that were occasionally used on the regular LF.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Those backgrounds were put on the national feed during the LF, and the 3000's text was overlayed over that.

How come the 3000 and JR never display icons or maps?

Because they weren't designed to, nor do they have the ability to do so.

Is there a list of cities that currently have the Junior?

I know Penn State, Rutgers, and a couple other places have 'em

If you look at the very beginning of
this video
, you can see that there is a video with the 3000 id screen. Does anyone have that video?
