This looks to be the best background instead of using 130 repetitive ones.
I agree, it's much better looking!

Impossible! Chris Hoitsma would never go into such details! :fear:

 :P
Probably explains why the radar city choices have been different the last few months. He must be the new local product manager.

Is that from the IS or IS2Jr.?
Looks like he used the graphics from a recorded clip of my areas I2jr
I didn't know that was yours. I guess I wasn't paying attention to the radar map.

Yep! it's a screencap from your I2jr, and even someone at TWC favorited my tweet about it.

A traffic segment has come to my area's LDL. I don't know if they'll revive it on the LF, though.

Traffic in a 60-second local forecast segment?  Doubtful.

If only they brought back longer LFs. That would be odd, though, because TWC really just doesn't care..

Finally, at least there's no more wasted space on the IS2.

If I'm honest, I think the sponsor overlay rather ruins the look of the new design. I'm not sure why, Just not a big fan of sponsors.

Random comment: finally saw the IS2 today in all its HD glory in Allentown, PA. The CC city is Allentown; LDL cities are Allentown, Reading, Willow Grove, and Flemington.

For some reason I can't comment on your youtube video. But that music seems to be their 'montage' I wouldn't be surprised if this was only a one off.
The problem is that this track wasn't designed for a local forecast. That Storm Alert section halfway through may confuse people, or so I would think...
