It's great that vocals have been permanently removed, but hopefully that doesn't mean they'll keep the same two production songs forever.

Well they also said that they plan to bring music back, options include jazz but also other music types are being considered. Maybe they'll include jazz with other instrumental formats. Me personally would like the 2009-2011 Lo8s format but with more jazz in primetime, which everyone complained about.  Those years IMO had a perfect mix of jazz with other catchy instrumental tunes.

Looks like it's an error. Although the radar showing twice would be nice!

Not to mention the third production song that's used only for "Storm Alert" coverage.

It appears the IS Jr. is using the same transitions as the IS2, instead of the IS.  Does the mean the analog signal is gone, too, or are the XLs and 4000s still around?

Yeah, especially in the first video, that thing seems to be glitching like crazy.  IF this is a new flavor, though, I don't like it.  Why put the time and welcome screen at the end, and why show the radar twice?  The radar is already shown again on the summary page.  Use the extra time for another screen.  Maybe this is something they're experimenting with, who knows.

I don't think that assumption can be made, it only means the IS2jr is programmed more like the IS2 than the IS, and this would be the same reason its old graphics were the same as the IS2's old graphics.

I have received confirmation through a tweet that "vocals have been permanently removed"

I believe that statement about as much as I can jump off the roof of my house and start flying. The vocals may disappear for a while, whether it be months, or a number of years, but they'll be back again. They're always gonna keep "experimenting". I'm curious why after nearly 2 1/2 years they "suddenly" want to go in a new direction with their selection of music again. I doubt it's because viewers complained, it wouldn't have taken this long to make changes again.

Speaking of the LF in general, when are they ever going to come to the table about adding more forecast products? I don't mind the LFs being 1 minute long, but for pete sakes add some freakin' variety to the lineup already. Throw in some metro/regional maps, almanac, climate data, something! I'm not saying they should cram all of that into 1 minute, but it wouldn't hurt to have each LF display different information throughout the hour like it used to be.

Glad to hear the vocal music is finally gone.   I don't mind hearing the two production songs (plus the storm alert music) play over and over again, but I would like to hear more instrumental music, and if all possible, smooth jazz. I guess we'll all have to wait and see what TWC does next on the music situation, won't we?
