Was this XL from a hotel?
No, this was from a cottage in Pipestem Resort State Park.

My first XL sighting! :thrilled:
Greetings from Pipestem State Park in WV!

I'll make sure to upload a video later. I can't right now, cause the wifi here is too slow.

Here's the video!

TWC Changed the clock on the LDL from showing only the time to scrolling the temperature.
Seems like my IntelliStar only had it, Not my IS2

I'm seeing this on my STAR's LDL as well.

Didn't it always do this? I thought I remember seeing a while back of it showing the time and scroll to the temperature?

It was shown in the teaser video before the launch of the new graphics that it would, but it didn't go into effect until today.

It's also active on the Cox IS in New Orleans.

The IntelliStar had always been like this since the V1 era ten years ago. Even the XL once had a dual time/temp display back when they supported the black bar LDL on the XL. Since V3 came out on the IntelliStar and V2 on the IS2, I wonder if the IntelliStar still displays only the clock whenever it shows a severe weather crawl message? The IS had always displayed only the time, but not the temperature whenever it displays a severe weather crawl message. I'm not sure whether or not if the IS2 does this since I've never seen one in person.

Cox New Orleans IS2 (sorry, don't know the ID) also has the scrolling time/temp now.

the New Bedford IS also has this but it only shows the primary cities temps on the clock, i just wish it showed the secondary cities LDL temps like the '10 version of the IS.

Has anyone ever seen this phrase of the text forecast? (Sorry for the poor photo quality.)
"Showers early with mainly sunny skies later in the day as drier air moves in on gusty breezes."
I've never seen that phrase on the IS before.

Woah, that nearly takes up the whole page on your Intellistar!  That's a strange phrase! :rofl2:

Does TWC stop using those jokes and comments on the IS and IS2 local forecast intro page during severe weather or just stop them in the areas effected?

Though I'm not in a severe weather area I am still getting those comments on my IS.
They should really turn them off during severe weather coverage.

Agree completely. Severe weather isn't a joke, and TWC shouldn't make it one with the pre-LOT8's jokes.
