Weather Channel Xl 2013

How interesting!!  I live in Daytona Beach, but only for almost 2 years, so I've only ever seen the IntelliStar and IntelliStar 2 down here.  I did see a 4000 from Orlando on YouTube, but this is the first time I've ever seen any older Star from Daytona Beach.

Yeah, not sure what the purpose of the video is.  The title says "Weather Channel XL 2013" but the date on the XL is June 10, which hasn't even happened yet.   So obviously it's not from this year.

The only thing i could guess they aren't doing cut-ins during shows anymore.

I finally got the icon issue fixed on my DirecTV feed:

That was a freaky problem and must have been annoying to look at.  Any idea what caused it?  How did you get it fixed?

The receiver must have rebooted by itself because we had a strong thunderstorm a few weeks ago that briefly knocked power to the campus that housed television department. A reboot is usually all you needed, but I am glad the icons are back to normal.

You know, the icons did the same exact thing on my DirecTV.  Since others have experienced it, it makes me wonder if the problem was on DirecTV as a whole rather than an individual receiver.

I really do miss the Metro "Now" and Radar/Satellite products on the IntelliStar

I didn't know this at first, but "Look to the West" by Steve Glotzer is called "Morning Brew" on his gettyimages account. Ironically there is a song on there called Look to the West, but it sounds nothing like what played back in August 2010.

While you're watching "Local on the 8s" on the IntelliStar, The sponsor ad (as Proven Winners shown) is usually in the upper right hand corner,  but now moved about three spaces to the left.
