I like the horse - it reminds me of the early "Weather you can always turn to" IDs.

  I've only looked at the computer models concerning TS Debby. I didn't know another heatwave was coming. Amazingly, we still wouldn't tie or break the record for Thursday/Friday.

I haven't, the Bulletins that are usually issued here are just generalized like "Heat Advisory in effect Until 7pm EDT this evening" (Thursday)

Anyone hear about the potential for a brought-back Storm Alert mode, featuring the music and the whole nine yards? That would be splendid.

Where did you hear about that? I honestly don't think that's going to happen, especially with the recent transition to vocal music.

There was another new Station ID I saw on TWCHD this morning of a beach and a small boat sitting idle out in the water with cumulonimbus clouds overhead a blue sky.

Anyone know who is voicing this new LOT8s promo? Does not sound like one of the regular voices.

I saw that yesterday.

Speaking of the station ID segment, is anyone else besides me seeing that the cable company logo/channel number as well as the radio station ID cards aren't showing at all during the recent ID segments with the new backgrounds?
